Standardised control solution for Roadside Pump Stations
Many of Dematec’s clients own or operate underground pump stations as part of wastewater management schemes.
A significant proportion of these pump stations contain legacy control systems, such as Multismart controllers, that are no longer available for direct replacement.
In response to this issue, Dematec has developed a standardised solution for pump stations with two pumps based on the Phoenix Contact PLCnext platform.
The D-TEKT pump controller can be readily retrofitted into existing pump station enclosures or used as part of a new installation.
Some of the key features of Dematec’s D-TEKT pump controller include:
– Direct replacement for Multismart controllers in most common two pump applications
– Graphical user interface with extensive user configuration capabilities
– Flexible level sensor interface which can accept analog level sensors, floats, or outputs from Multitrode controllers
– Options for DOL or soft-starter pump control
– Life-time hardware warranty on the PLCnext controller when installed with Phoenix Contact surge protection device and power supply
Ready for integration with Dematec’s D-TEKT Industrial Internet of Things platform to provide additional remote management capabilities
