Dematec supports 5B with Australian manufacturing of solar infrastructure

5B is an Australian solar pioneer, rapidly accelerating the deployment of large-scale solar with its prefabricated, pre-wired ground mount technology.
Prefabrication is at the heart of 5B’s philosophy. The company aims to take tasks out of the field and into a controlled factory environment to make solar deployment faster, safer, easier, and at lower cost and lower risk.
To that end, 5B has built and commissioned an automated assembly line for its Maverick technology – a prefabricated, pre-wired solar array built in its Adelaide factory. A second automated assembly line is currently in construction to boost 5B’s Australian manufacturing capability even further. Dematec Automation has supported 5B with these exciting initiatives by designing and deploying the electrical and control systems for these automated assembly lines.
