Dematec’s Operations Director, Tim Bubb, and Operations Manager, Daniel Wandless, were invited as guests by Colterlec to attend the Phoenix Contact facility and participate in the renowned Hannover Messe, one of the largest industrial fairs globally. The Hannover Messe takes place annually in Hannover, Germany, and it’s known for showcasing a wide range of industrial technologies, innovations, and trends. The fair covers various sectors including automation, energy, industrial supply, digital factory, research & technology, and more. It’s a significant event for companies to exhibit their latest products, network with industry peers, and explore potential business opportunities on a global scale.
With over 130,000 visitors from 150 nations, 4,000 exhibitors, 300 startups, and numerous economic and political delegations, HANNOVER MESSE 2024 showcased its remarkable capacity to globally integrate top-tier technological advancements, business expos, and economic and political agenda-setting. This year’s highlight was advancements in intelligently controlling factories, accelerating climate protection through modern production methods, and enhancing safety and efficiency across various levels of production with autonomous systems.
Our team had the opportunity to engage with industry leaders, experts, and innovators from diverse sectors. They were involved in discussions, workshops, and presentations that explored the latest developments in automation, digitalisation, energy management, and beyond. Our Operations Director found it interesting to see how innovations, particularly artificial intelligence, offer new opportunities for climate protection, energy efficiency, and resource utilisation.
